Hello, I am a bit confused. I have one of those chinese Android car stereo head units. Specifically I have a KLD model S07, it has a RK3188 dual core, and runs pure android (KitKat 4.4.4). The resolution is 800x480. The chinese sell sent me the iGo Primo v9.6.7.235654 zip file, and also sent me North America maps (though the maps are older). I have installed the app and maps on my head unit with no problems.

It runs great. However, I only have non-TTS voices. I am trying to have street name functionallity.

I have read the forum and some say all that is needed is the standard google TTS engine, while others say Nuance is needed (or Ivona, SVOX, etc.). The forum also says specific TTS voices are needed (I need English, and Spanish if possible).

But I do not know how to install or setup the device and/or iGo app with these pieces, as well as where to locate the downloads. Also, how do you enable the TTS Pro function in the iGo settings?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I am a newbie with android gps. I asked the seller, and they said the Android Primo maps do not support TTS (only the WinCE version does). Slagsmalsklubben Den Svenske Disco Rar. This is also adding to my confussion.

Ironically, its for her car. BLAHHHH =) I have attached a screen shot of the root folder, and the content folder. Also, in reading the forum I now know that my version 9.6.7 is really Primo v2.01. Should I even bother upgrading to 9.6.29 (Primo 2.4)? Or are they both basically the same? Just an FYI - the.apk file is installed into the head units internal memory.

The rest of the folders you see are on the SD card, in the dedicated GPS card slot. Thanks again for the help. A lot of the chinese head units come with a basic version of Primo that they make work so it doesnt interfere with the units memory capabilities. That doesnt mean you cant make it better. Also a lot of them have an apk installer icon on the apps page. This may mean that you can put the whole progam including the primo.apk on the sd card.

The installer reads it there and holds it in memory. Chas521 has a good version of Primo on another page that works quite well.

Ggee You're missing a lot of stuff. First thing you must do is to make a backup of your SD card to your computer. Then delete everything off your SD card. Then download this to your SD card.
